Extending his congratulations on the decisive victory in the Delhi Assembly elections, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) National President Ajit Pawar was all praise for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and conveyed best wishes to the new government for an outstanding performance. “The over 40 seats won by BJP symbolises the trust Delhiites have expressed in PM Modi’s leadership. With the establishment of a double-engine government, following the ideas of the PM at the Center as well as in the Delhi Assembly, the overall development of Delhi will accelerate. Good roads, clean water, quality education, and top-notch healthcare facilities will fulfill the dream of Delhiites to make their capital a fully developed city,” he said.
Pawar also attributed BJP’s success in Delhi to the efforts and election management skills of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. “Additionally, the hard work of Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva and his team played a significant role. By defeating leaders like Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, the people of Delhi have demonstrated their trust in the leadership of BJP and NDA,” said Pawar.
The NCP President believed that although the party could not achieve the desired results in the Delhi elections, the party has learned a lot from this experience. “This is just the beginning. Analysing the shortcomings from this defeat, greater efforts will be made to strengthen the party at the national level. The focus will be on expanding the party’s reach not just in Delhi but in other states across the country,” he stated.
