A train from Delhi to Darbhanga caught fire; How did the passengers save their lives?

New Delhi Darbhanga Train Fire: A train traveling from New Delhi to Darbhanga in Bihar caught fire on Wednesday (November 15). According to North Central Railway official, train number 02570 Darbhanga clone special caught fire near Sarai Bhupat railway station in UP. Due to Chhath, the train was very crowded. Panic spread among the passengers due to the fire.

What did the passengers in the train say?

All passengers have been evacuated safely. A passenger in the train said that there was a short circuit where he was sitting and there was a loud noise, which caused the train to catch fire. The passenger added, suddenly the smoke started rising. We somehow escaped from the train. Some people jumped out of the window and ran away. After a long time no one came to extinguish it. Had there been arrangements in the train, the fire would have been extinguished immediately. Every passenger who got off the train in the rush was injured.

SSP Vinay Kumar Verma said, three coaches of Clone Express from New Delhi to Darbhanga caught fire. Prima facie it is said that the fire started due to short circuit. The bogies that caught fire include 1 sleeper class and 2 general. “Bogies were involved. 200 to 250 people have been affected by the fire. Four people have suffered minor injuries, but none are life-threatening. The fire in all three bogies has been fully extinguished.
