Mahaesh Tapase | Modi Government Faces Rejection, Says NCP ( Sharad Pawar)

Mahaesh Tapase | In a resounding expression of dissent, the mood of the electorate is against the incumbent government, signaling a seismic shift in political sentiments said Mahaesh Tapase, the Chief Spokesperson of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), led by Sharad Pawar,

Tapase declared that the tide is turning against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its leadership under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The spokesperson for Sharad Pawar highlighted the disillusionment among voters, citing their rejection of what they perceive as hollow promises from the BJP, branding it a party of empty rhetoric. He underscored the resurgence of the Nehru-Gandhian ideology, indicating a paradigm shift in the electorate’s preferences.

With the conclusion of the third phase of voting, attention has turned to Maharashtra, where 11 Lok Sabha constituencies went to the polls. Tapase confidently asserted that the BJP and its allies face imminent defeat in all 11 constituencies, with voters overwhelmingly favoring the Mahavikas Aghadi coalition. He emphasized the electorate has not forgotten the betrayal within the Shiv Sena and the NCP leading to vertical split of these parties.

The BJP, once buoyed by its confidence, now finds itself on shaky ground as the India Alliance gains momentum.

Tapase pointed to a significant decline in voter turnout among the BJP’s traditional base, signaling waning support for the ruling party.

In a striking declaration, Tapase predicted that Ajit Pawar’s NCP would fail to secure a single seat in Maharashtra, emerging as a liability for the BJP.
