Indrani Balan Foundation gifts 60 computers to SNDT College

Pune | The Indrani Balan Foundation recently gifted 60 up-to-date computers to the SNDT College, which leads in women’s education. Indrani Balan Foundation President and Young Entrepreneur Punit Balan inaugurated the computer lab.

SNDT University Vice-Chancellor Dr Ujwala Chakradeo, Principal Dr Anjali Kadam, many teachers and students were present.

Young Entrepreneur Punit Balan and the Indrani Balan Foundation carries out social work in various fields across the country in a big way. They include education, sports, and defence. Since the education sector lays the foundation of and has a lion’s share in development, a major share of help goes to it. The computers were donated to the SNDT College with this objective.

Vice-Chancellor Chakradeo said, “Girl students will acquire advanced technology with the help of these computers. Earlier, our students used to get less time to learn computers as there was less number of machines. Now, they will get more time due to the invaluable help extended by the Indrani Balan Foundation.” She expressed gratitude towards Foundation President Punit Balan for their help.

Computer education is very essential in today’s IT age. This education is necessary to make girls independent and restore honour and self-respect to them. Girl students were not getting enough time to learn computers as the SNDT College did not have enough machines. We got the opportunity to make the computers available to them. I am confident that these girl students will make their city and country proud in the world after completing their education here.”
