CA Amruta Kulkarni elected as Chairperson of the Pune Branch of WIRC of ICAI

Pune: Pune branch of WIRC of ICAI announced its new causeries. CA Amruta Kulkarni has taken charge as the new chairperson of the ICAI from IPP CA Rajesh Agrawal. CA Sachin Miniyar has a new responsibility as Vice-Chairman. CA Hrishikesh Badave will serve as Secretary, CA Moshami Shaha will serve as Treasurer & CA Pranav Apte will serve as chairman of WICASA of WIRC of ICAI. Other members of the team are- immediate-past Chairperson CA Rajesh Agrawal, CA Ajinkya Randive, CA Kashinath Pathare, and CA Pritesh Munot.

Recently a managing committee meeting was held at ICAI Bhawan in Bibwewadi, Pune. Office bearers for the term 2024-25 were announced in this meeting. Central Committee Member CA Chandrashekhar Chitale, Regional Committee Member CA Yashwant Kasar & CA Ruta Chitale were present on the occasion. All senior officials as well as the branch committee congratulated the new office bearers.

CA Amruta Kulkarni said, "It’s my fortune to take charge of the chairperson of the Pune Branch of ICAI, in the Amritkaal of the country and the Amrit Mahotsav of ICAI. Being one of the largest branches, the Pune branch has a long tradition of success & I will try to maintain the same and do add-ons. Carrying forward this bright tradition, we are going to an environment-friendly approach, and take various activities which are useful to CA students and members throughout the year."

CA Rajesh Agrawal informed about the activities held in the term 2023-24. He mentioned Pune Branch of ICAI has received four awards at the regional & National levels recently for outstanding work. CA Chandrashekhar Chitale added that the Pune Branch of WIRC of ICAI was established in April 1962 with several members then just in few hundred and students in about a couple of thousands. The Branch has now Membership about more than 11000 Members and About 20,000 students.
