Punit Balan Group develop | “The Constitution of India has bestowed the Fundamental Rights and Fundamental Duties on us. We have to make India a developed country till 2047, for which every citizen has to perform the duties mentioned in the Constitution. This will prove a very important step,” said GOC-in-C, Southern Command, Lt Gen Ajay Kumar Singh.
Lt GenAjay Kumar Singh was speaking after he inaugurated the country’s first Constitution Park developed jointly by the Indian Army and Punit Balan Group on Monday. Punit Balan Group President and Young Entrepreneur Punit Balan, Manikchand Oxyrich and Manikchand Group President Janhavi Dhariwal-Balan and Dakshin Maharashtra and Goa Sub Area General Officer Commanding Maj Gen Vikrant Naik were present.
Lt Gen Singh said, “I am glad that I am inaugurating the Constitution Park. The Constitution of India is special in the world. Those who conceptualised and prepared the Constitution did a very important task. Ours is the biggest constitution in the world. It is very important that it has been amended as per the needs of the time. The Constitution mentions our Fundamental Rights and it includes our Fundamental Duties. Every citizen should understand their Fundamental Rights and should also perform their Fundamental Duties. If we succeed in this, we will realise the dream of making India a developed country by 2047.”
He said, “The Constitution Park is a special gift from the Indian Army and mainly from the Southern Command to the Puneites. Citizens will understand their responsibilities through this.”
