Piyush Goyal | Diamond Industry In Mumbai and Maharashtra to grow further
Mumbai | BJP – Mahayuti candidate Piyush Goyal from North Mumbai Lok Sabha Constituency, held a gathering in Dahisar; where he expressed his belief that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the diamond industry in Mumbai and Maharashtra would continue to flourish.
During his interaction with representatives and workers of the diamond industry, Piyush Goyal assured them that, as a representative of the constituency and a member of the government, he would do everything for rapid industry growth. He added that the welfare of workers in the diamond and jewellery sector would remain his top priority.
Piyush Goyal also emphasized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s focus on creating employment for artisans and workers through a skill development program and ensured that in the coming years, women would also get ample opportunities for development. He mentioned that Mumbai and other areas are developing world-class infrastructure for diamond and jewellery manufacturing and businesses.
Addressing the industry workers, Piyush Goyal mentioned that Ayushman Bharat has benefited more than 50 crore people with free and quality healthcare. He added that so far, four crore families have been given concrete houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and three crore more houses would be available in the next five years. Those living in slums will be rehabilitated in their current location through redevelopment. Piyush Goyal assured everyone that they would get a house with all the necessary facilities.
Piyush Goyal also appealed to the middle class and economically weaker sections to bless him with their votes. He added that Prime Minister Modi is working round the clock for their welfare. He also mentioned that a world-class hospital would be set up in North Mumbai, and efforts are underway to implement practical measures towards achieving this goal.
Anil Podar and Umesh Podar of Podar Industries welcomed Piyush Goyal and felicitated him. The program was attended by MLA Manisha Choudhary, former corporator Jagdish Ojha, Yogita Patil, and Mahayuti activists.
