Sharad Pawar Reviews Seven Lok Sabha Constituencies Today

Mumbai : Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Chief Sharad Pawar, accompanied by State President Jayant Patil, convened a comprehensive review of seven Lok Sabha constituencies in Maharashtra today. These constituencies include Kolhapur, Hatkanangle, Raver, Baramati, Shirur, Satara, and Madha, as confirmed by party spokesman Mahesh Tapase.

During the meeting, the chief office bearers of these Lok Sabha constituencies, along with district presidents, taluka presidents, and frontal cell office bearers, presented an overview of the party’s current position in their respective constituencies. They also discussed the status of the Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition and the larger political landscape in front of senior party leaders.

While acknowledging that some members from the Nationalist Congress Party and Shiv Sena have joined the current government, all office bearers reiterated that the voters remain aligned with the Mahavikas Aghadi coalition.

Party activists expressed concerns to Mr. Pawar regarding issues such as rising unemployment, contract-based government jobs, government school policies, and inflation, all of which have left the citizens of Maharashtra dissatisfied with the existing government.

In his interactions with office bearers, Mr. Pawar highlighted the government’s failures and encouraged party workers to openly communicate these shortcomings to the public. The NCP leader emphasized that the party upholds the values of late Yashwant Rao Chavan, which include a commitment to democracy and secularism, while remaining opposed to the ideology of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Sharad Pawar saheb issued a directive to the office bearers, stating that seat allocations within the Aghadi coalition would be finalized soon, and he urged them to work diligently to ensure the election of candidates from the Maha Vikas Aghadi said Tapase.

All NCP office bearers pledged their commitment to electing the candidates endorsed by the party.
